The Stage COULD be yours…
if you’re ready to EXpress Ya’ Self.
"Hoodie Season" serves to both preserve our local Black culture and give back to local Black youth. In pursuit of these goals, every year we create a platform for local artists to share their hard work, show off their unique talents, and grow their audience. As Vol. X, the tenth anniversary of Hoodie Season approaches, we are looking for the creatives that will elevate The Last BBQ of the Year one level higher. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, we will provide DMV artists and performers the opportunity to engage with our guests during this unique charitable event. Think "tiny desk" format for a great cause. Just remember the golden rule: You have to wear a hoodie!
Over the next few weeks, our Entertainment Team will be reviewing applications from DMV locals interested in performing during Hoodie Season in one of our six (6) open 10-minute slots. If you are a local singer, MC/rapper, poet/spoken word lyricist, or overall musician, we encourage you to submit the form below to our team. Please review the information below for instructions and our review process. We look forward to hearing from you!
